Abstract

Introduction. Healthy, groomed hands and nails are everybody’s pride and any changes in that area of the body, due to their visibility to other people, can cause discomfort, shame and low self-esteem. Frequently, the community may discriminate the people with such conditions. Most commonly, the reactions are motivated by the fear of infection.
